Born on Shadow, Aaron Church was a man of two worlds. His parents were spacers, and frequented the dangerous space route between Shadow and Frontier. Aaron learned to fly from his parents, as well as some basic mechanics. His parents were killed by gunmen on Frontier when he was 16, who stole their cargo and left Aaron and his ship stranded. However, Aaron received help from a small vigilante group. They agreed to help him fix his ship if he would smuggle them illegal supplies. He agreed, and has been running odd jobs ever since.
