The Infirmary, or Medical Bay, is located in the middle of the ship for practical purposes. It is an extremely advanced facility, and is capable of receiving all hands of the Sojourn at once, or the entire crew of another stranded vessel. Doctor Chandal, as well as Agent Slyth, are in charge of the facility.
