Article: Type-3 Behemoth Mining Trawler
Name: Behemoth
Class: Large Transport Vehicle
Affiliation: UC Military, Private Contractors, Frontier scavangers
Important Notes: Armed and heavily armored. Can carry 60 soldiers and their gear; a tank, jeep, and ATV, or 500 tons, while being fully armed.
Armored R.E.D. Contractors using the Behemoths weapons to defend their mined cargo.
Famed for their resilience to sand, water, and bullets alike, the T3 Behemoth is used to transport and protect large quantities of heavy materials, troops, or equipment. It can carry 60 soldiers and their gear; or a tank, jeep, and ATV, or 500 tons, while being fully armed. Standard armament: one 360 degree anti-aircraft Gatling gun, 1 port mounted Gatling gun, 1 starboard mounted Gatling gun. Other common arrangements include mounted guns in the belly and mounted guns in the rear.
Behemoths are a common site on Frontier: they are usually used as mobile bases for either brave contractors mining material, or assault weapons used by scavengers and criminals. They can be seen in the UC's military, too, as heavy transports where the terrain is rough or the cargo inside needs heavy security.
