A desolate, desert covered world, it is the third planet in the Eden System considered to be hospitable. Frontier is the subject of countless myths of treasure and adventure, though few actually know what lies on this lawless world.

The fascist 4E government was established on Frontier. After the civil war of 2065, the planet was left near inhospitable, and almost all colonist and settlers left. However, in the next 50 years, it became a safe haven for criminals.

The Coalition has almost no presence on Frontier. It is the home to some of the most hardened criminals who have taken refuge from the law. The previous UC base, Fort Bastion, was stormed and burned by bandits in 2233. Military action was to be taken, but a vote in Parliament, believed to have been swayed by wealthy blackmarket dealers living on Frontier, defined a new policy: the UC military was to draw up their borders, and cut Frontier out of their jurisdiction, to keep the inner, civil planets safe.
