Guild, once a barren but mineral rich rock, has been covered and hollowed out by factories. Going down nearly 60 miles, Guild's industrial plants produce almost all of the system's machinery. The most prestigious company on Guild is MARS Industrial, which owns the top 40% of the moon's factories.

UC warships and weapons are generally of the MARS brand.

It is said that if all of Guild's factories went to work at once building warships, a fleet of twenty ships could be assembled in five hours time.

Guild's number one problem is resources. Many of its precious metals have been completely stripped. There are still millions of tons of ore inside the moon, but many of the rarer elements have to be shipped in. In recent history, large, mineral-rich asteroids have been brought to Guild, and put into the moons orbit while they are stripped. There are two asteroids currently orbiting Guild, Titan R-257, and Titan R-663, brought in from Titan's belt. One other asteroid, Titan R-545, is in route.

Guild's famously orange atmosphere is entirely artificial and toxic. It has been created by nearly 100 years of toxic waste being pumped out of factories. It is ill advised to venture outside without extreme filtration equipment and complete body protection. The atmoshpere reacts with the metals in ship-hulls, giving them a durable coat and a polished look. This is commonly referred to as the Guild "Brand."
