The sailor fell heavy on the knife, killing him instantly. Matt pushed the heavy man off his weapon and prepared for the next sailor. Almost instantly, another thug came around the corner, saw the body at Matt's feet, and charged. In his right hand, he held an 8-inch ka-bar.

[Matt Aran]

Predicting that the salior was going to strike first, Matt ducked down and aimed an upward stabb at the leg, then rolled behind the sailor before he had a chance to see the affect of his blow.

Matt's knife stuck in the thug's leg. The sailor jumped back, taking Matt's knife with him. Shit.

Matt picked up the first sailors cleaver and stood ready. He watched the sailor pull the knife out of his leg. The second the sailor dropped his gaze to pull out the knife, Matt ran and sliced at his chest.

Matt swung the large cleaver but wasn't used to the weapons weight and missed. The large sailor, now holding Matt's knife, attempted to grab him and throw him into a wall.

The thug smashed Matt into the wall, who slid to the floor. Dazed, he pulled himself up using the ship's railing, ready for another attack.

Daze: -5% Hit accuracy

Crap, that hurt. I gotta take him out fast, or he's gonna pummel me. Matt stood expecting another attack. As the sailor swung, he ducked and rolled to the side, crouched and struck out at his side.

The sailor, still in pain, dropped Matt's knife to the ground. He was starting to bleed out. He swung again with his right arm at Matt's head.

The sailor fist barely grazed Matt's cheek, and crashed into the wall of the tug.

[Matt Aran]

Matt felt the fist graze his cheek and then heard it slam into the wall. He then aimed another blow at the sailors chest.

Matts cleaver sunk deep into the sailor's chest. Silently, he fell over with a thud.

[Matt Aran]

Matt dropped the cleaver with disgust. Cleavers are so unproportionate and unreliable. A good fishing knife always does the trick. Now, where did that go. He looked around until he found his knife. He wiped the blood off on one of the sailors shirt and then held it ready, listening for any more sailors.

[Chronos]

As Matt grabbed his knife, the second boat pulled up besides the tug. He ducked down, and made his way around the boat's cabin. He realized this ship wasn't a merchant boat like he thought: it was sleeker, and cleaner. Suddenly, he noticed a silhouette on the other ships bow. He tried to keep low, but the man called out to him,
"There's no need for that, Mr. Aran." Matt stopped, and slowly stood.

"I'm with a very special section of Alliance military. We've been very interested in you for some time now." The man smiled. "Your simple life could evolve into something new. Tomorrow. I've been scouring the universe looking for talent like you. My shuttle leaves at exactly 7:45 at the Shellton spacedock. I hope to see you there."

Slowly and quietly, the military boat pulled away, leaving Matt alone.
