A large moon orbiting the gas giant Titan, Shadow is one of the most earth-like planets in the Eden System. The climate is notably dry. Most of the moon is covered by large ranches, and cattle herding is one of the most common careers.

Shadow is considered the jewel of the Eden system. Crime is low, standard of living is high, and the environment is Earth-like. However, over the past few years, Shadow's perfect image has been tarnished. Criminals slipping in from Frontier have tried to take refuge on Shadow, and the Coalition has responded with heavy military presence. A large outpost was constructed, and several military raids conducted to bring the criminals to justice.

The outpost, Camp Victory, located next to Shadow's Victory Lake, is the Coalitions last foothold before Frontier.

Out of the safety of Camp Victory and the surrounding area, the law slowly falls apart. Robbers constantly rob the planet's lev-mag trains, and raid towns.
